In 1985 one of RBW's Michigan-based clients needed a place to storetheir confidential records.
"They were one of our largest clients at the time" said Charles Anderson, President of both RBW Logistics and Records Management Center, "so we gave them their own section in our warehouse and started storing their records."
Soon local companies like Dupont (which managed the Savannah River Site) and a candy company that required air conditioned storage were requesting space to store their records. With increased demand Charles Anderson decided to create a new division of RBW dedicated to safeguarding client records. He named this new division Records Management Center.
Initially Records Management Center was a 3,500 square foot facility servicing just a handful of clients. Today, nearly a quarter of a century later, RMC is a 35,000 square foot facility providing records storage, digital imaging and shredding services to hundreds of businesses both large and small.
Records Management Center's facility was designed to meet the most stringent security standards in the information management industry. The building's concrete, brick and steel construction protect client records from natural disasters, while the state of the art security system, with alarms, motion detectors and card key only access offer complete protection from information fraud and identity theft.
It's no surprise that some of the area's most prestigious medical facilities, banks, credit unions, law firms, mortgage companies, accounting firms and retail operations trust Records Management Center with their confidential information.
